HSBC is one of the biggest bankrollers of dirty energy around the world.

These dirty energy projects are forcing people out of their homes and polluting water supplies at the same time as pushing the planet to the brink of runaway climate change.

Why HSBC?

  • HSBC financed coal to the tune of £3.8 billion between 2005 and 2011.
  • HSBC underwrote about £75 Billion in share and bond issues to fossil fuel companies between 2010 and 2012.
Over the next few months, we are asking people to pile on the pressure by adding a piece of coal to the pile that we will be sending a piece of coal to HSBC. Will you join us by adding a piece of coal to our pile?

Unlike HSBC, you won’t even have to get your hands dirty. Just add your details and email HSBC Group Chief Executive Stuart Gulliver, and we’ll add a piece of coal to the pile on your behalf.
